Polish Electricity Association (PKEE) represents the largest electricity producers and some of the leading energy industry organizations in Poland. PKEE focuses on issues related to the functioning of the power industry in a modern market economy. PKEE engages in actions and projects that help the Polish electricity sector better meet the challenges related to transformation of the energy market, ensuring security of electricity supply, competitive market with affordable electricity prices, environmental protection and technological development.

To strengthen our activities in Brussels we are looking for a dynamic, proactive and creative

Communications Officer

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop communication strategies for PKEE in Brussels;
  • Manage our communication channels to increase visibility of PKEE, including in social media;
  • Develop and manage contacts with key target media within the EU;
  • Prepare press releases, organise press briefings and communication events, develop speaking opportunities for senior PKEE representatives;
  • Edit and coordinate dissemination of PKEE’s publications;
  • Manage PKEE’s visual identity, ensuring consistency of branding and messaging across all channels.

Required profile:

  • University degree in a relevant field;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience;
  • Understanding of decision-making process in the EU;
  • Clear, fluent and concise oral and written communication skills;
  • Proofreading skills with outstanding attention to detail;
  • Knowledge of the EU energy policy;
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken. French an advantage;
  • Experience of graphic design software an advantage.
